  • Dearest Xanga World,

It is time for me to reveal my deep dark secret.  I have another blog.  Now, before you go all crazy on me, let me explain.

I started my Xanga in 2004.  Things in my life were much different then, and I sorta wanted to put it behind me.  I won't cancel my Xanga because it's kinda fun to look back at old posts and see how I've grown.  At the same time, it saddens me sometimes to read about the stupid mistakes I've made in the past (almost!) 5 years.  Moving forward seemed like the only practical option.

Your xanga pages are lovely, don’t get me wrong, but when it came to “mom-blog” stalking, as you all know I love to do, the options over at blogspot.com were just too enticing.

Also, you can leave comments as “anonymous” on blogspot, and then just sign your real name, so anyone, with any type of blog (Xanga included) can comment.  How cool is that?

As much as I would love to give the credit to Corrin, since she jumped ship on John McCain and Xanga in October 2008, you should know that I started my blogspot back in April.  So.

Come on over, check  it out.  Same types of posts, just different posting community.

You will also notice a few posts about my desire to child bear.  This was supposed to be a secret to all of you, but has become public knowledge, since I continue to break down about my lack of reproductive skills.  Holla.

  • i hate needles

what a weekend!  after an incredible church service and then shopping at the outlet malls, aaron and i wrote out our list of things to do on an otherwise lazy sunday afternoon!

    aaron:
change oil in mower 1, and mower 2
    clean out garage
clean out and wash 2 cars and a truck

    natalie:
stain shelves for displaying willow trees
make dinner (mexican macaroni - yum!)
nearly cut finger off while making dinner, and spend evening at urgent care!

so, it wasn't actually on my list, and neither was "run around house like crazy, make dog pee, get near-fainting wife in truck, drive to urgent care, get hand sqeezed off by crying wife, wait 1.5 hours for medicine" on aarons list.  BUT, life gets in the way of our plans sometimes, right?  this is hard to type because i have 4 stitches in my left pinkie.  note to self: put frozen beef in microwave to thaw, do not use sharpest knife in cutting block.

i would show you a picture, but i couldn't convince aaron to take one after the stitches went in.  maybe you'll get to see the cool scar.

i will type more when 1.) i have 10 typing fingers, 2.) the dog stops trying to eat the power cord to the computer.

duke hates the vaccum, having his picture taken, and this cool shirt i got him for halloween.  that's why it looks like he's trying to bite my arm off.  hahaha.

Do you want me to tell you something really subversive? Love is everything it's cracked up to be. That's why people are so cynical about it. It really is worth fighting for, being brave for, risking everything for. And the trouble is, if you don't risk everything, you risk even more. ~Erica Jong
